Local Services
Agreed to make a start by publishing the information we have already collated on the website and invite patients to send in information to add to the list. FK will send details to KW.
Carer Activity
Discussed next steps now silver award achieved. Della, our carers champion to attend a PPG meeting in the future to discuss how the PPG can support the Practice. FK will be attending a lunch for adult carers. He will take the opportunity to ask carers how they feel the Practice can support them.
Friends and Family Review
4 responses. All very likely to recommend. Thanks for services to temporary residents over Christmas. Agreed we will remind patients they can complete a form at every contact with us.
Surgery Survey
Ann discussed the surgery survey she carried out at the end of November. She spoke to 13 patients. She was able to tell them about the work of the PPG. Patients were generally happy about the service. One patient suggested a set of scales to weigh baby without Health visitor appointment. Ann asked patients if they were aware of the facility to book online. Many were, but liked the ‘personal touch’ and believed receptionists could ‘squeeze them in’ if there was not an appointment available. Ann said she would be willing to repeat the survey.
Helping Patients get online
Mel is happy to repeat his session helping patients get online. Date agreed for 31st January pm. Practice to advertise, and patients will book in for 15 minute session with him. Discussed issues with Patient Access software. These have been flagged with provider.
Pharmacy Application
FK has kindly drafted a letter for submission with Practice objection to new pharmacy within 1 mile of Pury End and Paulerspury. All happy to sign. Has since been submitted. Discussion around viability of Paulerspury if we cannot dispense to sufficient numbers.
