Tournament Information Form

WHERE: Sandusky High School – 191 Pine Tree Lane, Sandusky, MI 48471
WHEN: April 18th, 2015. Wrestling will begin at 10AM.
WEIGH-INS: Home weigh-ins shall be conducted and submitted by 8:00 pm on Thursday, April 16th.

ENTRY FEE $10 (Electronic payment of registration fees is required at the time of tournament registration.)
ADMISSION $4.00 Adults, $2.00 Child
AWARDS: 1st and 2nd place medals will be awarded for a six man bracket; championship medals only for any bracket with 5 or fewer wrestlers.
AGE GROUPS Age Groups are determined by Grade Level. Proof of grade will be required if wrestler is challenged within the first two rounds of competition. A School ID is the only form of validation that will be accepted.
RULES Modified High School Rules
All Michigan residents MUST be a WAAAM member to compete in this event.
Singlet or t-shirt and shorts are required.
Mouth guards are mandatory for wrestlers with braces.
Hair caps attached to headgear are mandatory for wrestlers not groomed to HS standards. (Hair length must be
above eyebrow, earlobes, and collar.).
Middle School Wrestlers may move up one (1) grade level, High School wrestlers may move up one (1) or
all.
WT. CLASSES Six (6) man blocked weight charts for developmental tournaments. Regional and State tournaments are;
9th-12th; 100, 109, 118, 125, 131, 136, 141, 145, 151, 158, 166, 177, 195, 220, HWT (290).
7th- 8th; 70, 75, 80, 85, 90, 95, 100, 105, 110, 115, 120, 125, 130, 135, 140, 145, 155, 165, 185, HWT (250)
OTHER INFO Only two coaches per mat will be permitted at any time. Anyone operating video equipment on the mat will be considered a coach.
