  • The Nobel Museum, right in the middle of the Old Town, where you can learn about the Nobel Prize, Alfred Nobel, and the Nobel Laureates and their visions.
  • Stockholm City Hall. The City Hall is probably best known as the venue for the world-famous Nobel Banquet which takes place on December 10 every year.
  • Absolut Icebar Stockholm, the world’s first permanent ice bar. Here, the temperature is 23°F all year round.
  • Millennium Tour. Follow along in Mikael Blomkvist and Lisbeth Salander’s footsteps while getting additional background information about the characters and the author.
  • Gröna Lund, the oldest amusement park in Sweden. Like all good amusement parks Gröna Lund is crowded, full of activity and impressions. Frankly, it can be quite chaotic in a fun sort of way. Even for Swedes.
  • Skansen is the first open-air museum in the world. Skansen is also a zoological park specialising mainly in Scandinavian fauna. It is located on the island of Djurgården, a royal park near the centre of Stockholm.
