ATTENDANCE
The figures below are for the Autumn term. Expectations from the Welsh Government are for attendance figures to be above 95%. As you can see from the table below we only managed that for one month. Please can I ask that you always contact the school office on the first day your child is ill. Whereas we appreciate parents may have a number of reasons for taking their child on holiday during term time, multiple holidays is unacceptable. Our EWO is monitoring closely for repeated holidays and for the reoccurrence of illnesses. As a school we would really appreciate your cooperation in this matter.

ART EXHIBITION
On Wednesday 1st February we will be holding our first Children’s Art Exhibition in the school hall from 3pm – 5.30pm. All children have created their own masterpiece which has been professionally framed and the picture will be displayed as if it is in a real art gallery. All Parents, family and friends are invited to come a look at all the art work and there is an option to buy your child’s picture if you would like to do so at the cost of £8. Copies can also be ordered. More information can be found on posters displayed around the school and in a separate letter your child will be bringing home this week. I hope you will all agree that this will be a fantastic opportunity for your child to feel like a true artist!
