TOKYO, NEW YORK, PARIS: THE PENINSULA PARIS

EASTER EGG TRIO

From 15 March to 17 April, The Peninsula Paris will celebrate Easter by presenting not one, but three limited edition chocolate eggs, paying tribute to each of the three continents where the group’s hotels are located; Asia, America and Europe.

This year, The Peninsula Hotels’ Easter eggs are as poetic as they are conceptual, promising a virtual journey through the inspirations of the world.

Tokyo.Spring is the most eagerly awaited season in Japan. Its seasonal sakura blossoms cover the country in their delicate colours, intoxicating it with sweetness and poetry. Drawing inspiration from these iconic blooms, The Peninsula Tokyo unveils an exquisite creation. A powdery pink cherry blossom made of chocolate elegantly climbs the side of the glowing white exterior of the egg.

New York. The Peninsula New York celebratesSpring, one of the most beautiful seasons of the year in the Big Apple. The mix between dark and milk chocolate delicately complements one another. The surface of the egg is dressed in spring flowers to celebrate the season, while its apple centre-piece reveals some of the city's most iconic landmarks, including the Statue of Liberty, the Freedom Tower and the Empire State Building.

Paris. The decoration of The Peninsula Paris Easter egg showcases a creative reinterpretation of the symbols of the hotel: the famous L’Oiseau Blanc bi-plane, whose replica hangs on the 6th floor of the hotel, rubs shoulders with the Dancing Leaves of the spectacular chandelier in its lobby, both hidden behind the majestic doors of this spectacular egg.

A single model of each chocolateegg will be produced on site by the three Japanese, American and French pastry chefs and exhibited from 14 March to 18 April in Le Lobby restaurant. From 14 March onwards, miniature versions will be sold in a presentation case containing the three chocolate creations, priced at 128 Euros.

For the Easter weekend, The Peninsula Paris invites guests to share a gourmet moment with their families: a themed Easter Brunch for early risers, an afternoon break with Afternoon Tea centred on the sweetness of chocolate, and an Easter egg hunt on the hotel’s terrace.
