Terms and Conditions
By entering the “Today Tonight – Eddie the Eagle” Competition, you are agreeing to the following terms and conditions:
1. STANDARD TERMS
1.1 Information on how to enter forms part of the terms of entry.
2. WHO CAN ENTER?
2.1 Subject to clause 2.2, entry is open to all residents of South Australia where the Channel Seven signal is received.
2.2 Employees and their immediate families of Seven Network (Operations) Limited, Twentieth Century Fox, Showtime Promotions, and their associated agencies and companies are not eligible to enter.
3. HOW TO ENTER
3.1 The Competition commences on Friday, April 8, 2016, at 18:30 ACST and concludes on Wednesday, April 13, 2016 (“the Competition Period”).
3.2 In order to enter, viewers must watch Today Tonight (“the Program”) on the Seven Network. From Friday through Wednesday there will be a Competition segment aired during the Program with four different questions.
3.3 In order to enter, viewers must answer all four questions and then enter them correctly on Today Tonight Adelaide’s competition website.
3.4 Entries must be received by Thursday, April 15, by 23:59 ACST. The time of entry will in each case be by the time the web based entry is received.
3.5 All entrants must be over the age of 18.
4. PRIZES
4.1 There will be 150 movie pass winners and one major prize winner.
4.2 The prizes are:

Terms and conditions:
-- Package is based on four people sharing a room.
-- All elements are subject to availability at time of booking.
-- There is no cash alternative. Prize is non-refundable and non-transferable.
-- Prize valid only during Thredbo Ski Season 2016 (June 10 through to October 3, 2016, excluding public and national holiday periods.)
-- Travel must be completed by October 3, 2016.
-- Prize includes: three-day beginner-pack lift and lesson pass, equipment rental (skis, boots, poles and helmet OR boots, bindings, snowboard, helmet), apparel – jacket and pants set only. Excludes gloves, beanies, goggles, socks and other miscellaneous ski apparel. Winner must provide their own.
-- Winner is responsible for obtaining travel insurance.
-- Winner will be required to produce credit card upon check-in to hotel for incidentals.
-- At least one person (winner) travelling must be 18 years or over. If the winner is under 18 then his/her guest must be his/her parent or guardian.
-- Tickets are non-transferable (ie no name changes allowed). Once tickets are issued, they are non-endorsable and non-transferable. Any alterations to confirmed flights and/or accommodation and/or scheduling arrangements will be at the expense of the winner and their travelling companions. All components of the prize must be fulfilled at the same time and they cannot be split across different time periods.

-- Flights are economy class and may be indirect. The airline’s Conditions of Carriage apply to all flights. The winner and travelling companions must travel at the same time and are responsible for transport from their residence to their nearest capital city airport in Australia. These conditions apply for all flights.

Total prize value is $8,000. Prize value is correct as at the date of printing. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for change in prize value between now and the ultimate date on which the prize is taken.
4.3 In participating in the prizes, the winners agree to participate and co-operate as required in all editorial activities relating to the Competition, including but not limited to being interviewed and photographed. The winners (and their companions) agree to grant the Promoter a perpetual and exclusive licence to use such footage and photographs in all media worldwide and the winners (and their companions) will not be entitled to any fee for such use.
4.4 The winners agree they will not sell or otherwise provide their story and/or photographs to any media or other organisation.
4.5 The promoter and affiliates and their associated agencies and companies will not be liable in respect of any loss or claim arising from any errors, delays or other.
4.6 Prizes cannot be transferred nor redeemed for cash. Winners should seek independent financial advice about any tax implications that may arise from the prize winnings.
5. HOW TO WIN
5.1 There will be 150 minor winners selected based on the skills used to answer four questions over a four-night period.
5.2 Out of the pool of minor winners, one (1) major winner will be selected based on the draw of a seat number at the time of the movie screening.
5.3 The Promoter’s decision is final and the Promoter will not enter into correspondence regarding the result.
5.4 It is a condition of accepting the prize that the winner must comply with all the conditions of use of the prize and prize supplier’s requirements.
5.5 It is a condition of accepting the prize that the winner (and any companions) may be required to sign a legal release in a form determined by the Promoter in its absolute discretion.
5.6 The prize is valid only during Thredbo Ski Season 2016 (June 10 through to October 3, 2016, excluding public and national holiday periods.) Travel must be completed by October 3, 2016.
6. NO LIABILITY
6.1 In the case of the intervention of any outside act, agent or event which prevents or significantly hinders the Promoter’s ability to proceed with the Competition on the dates and in the manner described in these terms and conditions, including but not limited to vandalism, power failures, tempests, natural disasters, acts of God, civil unrest, strike, war, act of terrorism, the Promoter may in its absolute discretion cancel the Competition and recommence it from the start on the same conditions, subject to state government legislation.
6.2 Seven Network (Operations) Limited & affiliates, Twentieth Century Fox, Showtime Promotions and their associated agencies and companies will not be liable for any misadventure, accident, injury, loss (including but not limited to consequential loss) or claim that may occur:
a) during the selection process;
b) whilst undertaking any travel won on or connected with their entry into the draw;
c) in the participation in any prize;
d) due to the broadcast of any program relating to the Competition or the publication of any material, including any statements made by any compere, staff member, journalist, other entrants or any other person;
e) arising from or related to any problem or technical malfunction of any Internet network or lines or communications network related to or resulting from participation in this Competition.
6.3 Seven Network (Operations) Limited assumes no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to, or alteration of entries, and reserves the right to take any action that may be available.
6.4 If for any reason this Competition is not capable of running as planned, due to causes including but not limited to tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other causes beyond the control of the Promoter which corrupt or affect the administration security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this Competition, the Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process, take any action that may be available, and to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Competition, subject to state government legislation.
7. PROMOTER’S DETAILS
7.1 The Promoter is Seven Network (Operations) Limited (ABN 65 052 845 262) of Level 2, 38-42 Pirrama Road, Pyrmont, NSW 2009.
7.2 The sponsor is Showtime Promotions and Twentieth Century Fox.
7.3 Entry details remain the property of the Promoter. Seven Network Limited (ABN 65 052 845 262) and its related entities (“Seven”), is collecting the entrant's personal information for the purpose of conducting and promoting this Competition (including but not limited to determining and notifying winners), and, if you consent, for the purpose of Seven sending you Competition and direct marketing material in relation to Seven’s programs and products and services available through Seven and its business partners. The entrant may request access to his or her personal information by writing to Today Tonight, Channel Seven Adelaide, 40 Port Road, Hindmarsh SA 5007.
