Guidance News:

Memorial Health Systemis excited to share the Spring 2018 Hands-On Healthcare schedule. Hands-On Healthcare is a new program designed specifically for high school and college students as well as adult learners who want to determine if a healthcare career could be part of their future.

Program Highlights Include:

  • Monthly opportunities to experience a variety of healthcare fields in a simulated environment.
  • Instruction by healthcare professionals at Memorial and Southern Illinois University-School of Medicine
  • No mandatory vaccinations, TB tests and computer-based learning modules (CBLs) prior to enrollment
  • Easy online registration available 30 days prior to each learning event
  • Smaller groups of students (up to 40) for optimal hands-on interactions
  • Convenient scheduling-some sessions will take place during the evening or on state or school holidays during the day
  • No First Nighter event or Recognition Ceremony (previously required)

JWCC Agricultural Sciences Open House-JWCC Orr Ag Center in Perrywill be hosting their annualAg Science open houseonMonday, February 19th. Tours begin at4:30 p.m.with a meal to follow at6:00 p.m. Staff will be available to answer questions about financial aid, admissions, and program options.
