TET workers notified me of a potential asbestos hazard on site. An old pipe which may or may not contain asbestos in its insulated wrapping was found outside the generating plant. I asked the NB Power operations manager on site at the time if he was aware whether or not the pipe wrapper contained asbestos. As we were not 100% sure without analysis, he contacted George Kelly who called Peter White to come and test the pipe insulation. The pipe is currently marked off with red tape and tagged as potential asbestos hazard until a determination can be made.

Monitored the concrete pour from 1:30pm to 3:00 pm. One truckload of concrete was delivered and used on siteusing a boom and concrete box for extra-controlled pouring. No spillage.

LMC Task List November 8th, 2016

Monitored the bathymetry survey from on top of the gate structure. I noticed a small paint slick in the water from drips of heavy spray paint. Painting of some grating which was being done by NB Power had dripped down into water and was being contained by the logs below. I notified the operators and they took immediate action by absorbing it with an absorption sock attached to a rope and pole.
