Transforming Technology Advisory Group (T.T.A.G)

David R Haslam, ACS , , 734-259-0387

Introduction:

Bil Moore of District 62 recently presented a workshop titled “Introducing your 2nd best sales person”. Bil’s reference was to his club’s website. Bil stated that the best sales person for a club is the members. However the website is a vitally important recruiting and retention tool.

Story: Dearborn Dynamic Toastmasters#1 priority last year: attracting new members. Danling Zhu was appointed the club’s new V.P. P.R., and she was charged with a single focus: to improve the club’s website, and to keep it fresh and up-to-date. THAT paid off. In twelve months, the club attracted 13 numbers via the website! Two of the new members also stated that they had compared our website to other clubs in the area, and selected Dearborn Dynamic based solely on the website “being the best”.

I am Chair for the new Transforming Technology Advisory Group (T.T.A.G.), with Danling as co-chair. We will be posting details of the group over the course of the next few weeks. Please contact me if you know anyone who might interested in helping us with this ongoing effort. .
