Invitation to the Meeting of the South East European Region’s affiliates of industriAll European Trade Union

“A Trade union agenda for industrial policy in South East Europe”

15-16 October 2015 in Sofia, Bulgaria

Dear Colleagues,

We are pleased to invite you to the meeting of the South East European Region’s affiliates focusing on “A trade union agenda for industrial policy”that will take place in Sofia, Bulgariaon15-16 October 2015.

The meeting is being organized with the support of the Regional Project on Labour Relations and Social Dialogue in South East Europe of the Friedrich Ebert Stiftung.

Enclosed you find the draftprogrammeof the meeting.

Interpretation will be offered in RO, HR, BG and EN.

Practical information:

The meeting will start on Thursday, 15 October at 13:00 and will end on Friday, 16 October at 13:00, followed by a lunch. Participants are expected to arrive on 15 October in the morning and depart on 16 October after lunch.

The meeting will take place at the headquarters of CITUB/KNSB on 1 Macedonia Square in 1000 Sofia, Bulgaria.

Registration and reimbursement rules:

All Trade Unions in the SEE region affiliated to industriALL Europe are invited to register one delegate (maximum) representing his/her organization up to a maximum of 37 representatives.

The hotel costs will be covered by the Friedrich Ebert Stiftung for the night of 15-16 October for a maximum of 29 participants based on the key below. We expect the Bulgarian delegation to be based in Sofia.

The Friedrich Ebert Stiftung agreed to fully cover travel costs for a maximum of 10 female or young (<35 years) trade union representatives (see key below). industriAll Europe will cover up to 50 % of the travel costs of the other representatives (one representative per trade union) and no more than EUR 400. Taxi costs and parking fees will not be reimbursed.

For delegates travelling by car costs will be reimbursed per car. We encourage the delegates travelling by car to coordinate their travel with other participants in order to keep costs low.

To register we kindly ask you to fill in the attached registration formand sent it to by 11 Septemberat the latest.

Please wait for confirmation before making any booking. Should you wish to register more than one delegate all costs for additional delegates of a trade union need to be covered by your trade union.

Please take note that if you miss to register within the deadline your hotel room and interpretation may not be guaranteed!

In the case that you have to cancel your participation please inform us in due time. The costs of late cancellations and no-shows will have to be fully covered by the individual trade unions.
