Located on the outskirts of Sligo Town and overlooked by the beautiful Benbulben Mountain, this landmark building dates back to 1848 and was designed by William Dean Butler. The building itself boasts a striking granite exterior which has been sensitively restored and remodelled as a beautiful contemporary 4 star hotel set on beautiful grounds.
From anintimate celebration to wedding parties of all sizes, the hotel offers our beautiful ballroom - The Pegasus Suite, which can accommodate up to 400 wedding guests banquet style. On the grounds of the estate we have our unique ‘Canis Major’ Church which is the idealvenue for Civil Ceremonies. Sandra who took over dealing with us was absolutely amazing. Nothing was too much to ask of her and she was excellent at responding to emails even on her days off!!! Noel was a pure gentleman who also made us feel so welcome every time we went down and was so accommodating. Our Wedding day was nothing but spectacular!! Voytek was out on his own!! The staff were that helpful that on the day of the wedding 20 minutes before the service my hubby to be remembered he had forgot the buttonholes a 40 minute drive away. In a panic he went to reception and the staff jumped into action. We had buttonholes with minutes to spare. The whole day ran like clockwork. The food was amazing. Rooms fabulous.
