To Our HEWYBL Family,
HEWYBL is an adult-volunteer, not-for-profit youth sports program run for the benefit of the children of Hightstown, East Windsor, Cranbury, Allentown, Robbinsville and the surrounding communities.
HEWYBL operates three programs: Babe Ruth Baseball, NFL Flag Football and Basketball. We accommodate all requests to accomplish our goal to continue our support for the participants’ growth toward becoming well-rounded, productive and caring adults. The opportunities we give our children today will prepare them for the challenges of tomorrow.
It is with these values that we need to express that sports are conducted during specific time frames and scheduling is always a very sore issue. While we make every attempt to cause the least amount of conflicts we also have to keep in mind that every season has a specific date structure when the sport commences and when it concludes.
We do not have the ability to accommodate requests based on individual reason. We do afford the opportunity that if a team has any issues and cannot field a team we will make every attempt to reschedule games that could not be played. Keep in mind that this is a recreational league and if a team can field enough players to participate than the game will be played. Individual accommodations cannot be considered,. HEWYBL is a team-oriented league that has specific sport schedules that cannot easily be changed, modified or rescheduled.
HEWYBL is enriched with families of many faiths that have various religious observances, practices and beliefs. We value these rights and freedoms, including the right of each player to adhere to individual systems of religion. We also have and obligation to commence and conclude a season in the appropriated time frame and do not have the ability to reschedule for individuals at the sacrifice of the league as a whole.
