How do I get started with Enhanced WebAssign?

·  Your textbook should include a student access code card, containing a unique activation code enabling you to register at WebAssign. In order to properly register, you will also need 3 pieces of information from your instructor, a unique User Name, unique Password and an institution code.

·  Visit www.webassign.net and select LOG-IN. Enter the information your instructor provided and click the Log In button.

·  After logging in for the first time, you will be prompted to enter your access code. Select the proper prefix from the drop-down menu. If you do not have an access code card in your textbook, you can purchase one online by selecting “Purchase an access code online”

·  If you have not yet purchased your course materials, you can access your homework assignments for 2 weeks after the course start date without entering an access code by selecting “Continue without entering an access code”.

·  After completing your registration, you can change your password by selecting “My Options” and entering a new password.

·  After logging in, you will see your class homepage. Any current assignments will be listed under “My Assignments”. To start the assignment, simply select it.

·  Simply enter your answer in the answer box when you are ready. You will note that there are different types of responses to enter. In some cases, you may be prompted to enter a numerical solution, or a brief answer explanation. Select from a drop-down box of items or choose a multiple choice selection.

·  Some answers may require you to use symbolic notation or enter an equation. Simply use basic keystrokes to enter the answer. To preview your answer before you submit it, hit the eyeball icon to view the answer in mathematical form.

·  Technical Support is available in a variety of ways. For a complete student support guide and answers to the most common questions, simply visit http://www.webassign.net/info/customer.html
