Episodic Disabilities or When it’s not going very well

All of us have good and bad days at work. Most of the time, things go well. Some days are more difficult. For example, we lack energy, we are grumpy, we sleep badly, we have a slight cold, etc. We make the best of it. When things get really hard, like a severe case of the flu, we take a day off, or two, or three to recover and refuel. It can happen to anyone. What about a person who has an illness or condition (any process related to a disease except for the causes of the disease) that leads to episodes of disability with varying levels of severity and duration? And what if sometimes, two or three day’s leave is not enough? Read more
