HISTORY
Leadership North Augusta is a program that came out of the North Augusta FORWARD Strategic Planning Process. We conducted one on one interviews with over 50 community/corporate leaders as well as several public meetings to determine the needs of the community.
GOAL:
To identify, develop and cultivate leaders in the North Augusta Community.

●Provide a resource pool for the benefit of the community

PROGRAM FORMAT
Classes of approximately 10-12 participants will be chosen from applications submitted from potential leaders in the North Augusta Community.
For nine months, the group will meet the SECOND Wednesday of each month from 8:30am to 5pm to explore issues, problems, and opportunities facing North Augusta. This year, 2017-2018, will also focus on a Leadership reading and lecture series. Students will have homework reading, as well as a class project decided on by the participants with assistance from the LNA Board.

PROGRAM COMMITMENT
●Leadership North Augusta will require a commitment of time and energy in order for you to reap the benefits of the full experience.
●To graduate, participants are expected to attend all sessions, and complete the class project.
●ONLY one-excused absence will be allowed throughout the class(i.e. death in the family, serious illness, etc)
●If you are selected to participate in Leadership North Augusta you may be invited to participate at the board level after graduation.
●The cost to the applicant OR the applicant’s employer for the class is $700.00. Scholarships have been awarded to small business owners and educators.
