Re: Request for Proposals: FY17 DHS | Faculty Development Support Funding

We are thrilled to offer the 6th consecutive year of funding opportunities through the DHS | School of Medicine Faculty Development Support program. Our intent, through this competitive funding opportunity, is to create a culture of discovery, diversity, and excellence by fostering new approaches to teaching, the development of new research ideas, and the acquisition of new clinical, research, and teaching skills that will benefit faculty, our institution, students, residents, and patients. Funding will be awarded to support faculty development for expenses that include, but are not limited to, conference activities, including attendance at special meetings, workshops or events, presentation at professional meetings, visits with colleagues at other institutions, pilot research projects, and the acquisition of new clinical skills.

Please review a summary of awards in FY 2016. Applications will be accepted throughout two funding cycles.
