DISTRICT 7 SILVER CLOVER RECOGNITION BANQUET

ABOUT THE SILVER CLOVER AWARD

Thirty leaders in our District will be chosen through a competitive process to receive the Silver Clover recognition. The recognition includes a steak meal and awards presentation to present the coveted custom-made Silver 4-H Clover. Females receive the clover pendant on a silver chain and males receive the clover as a tie tack. Please consider the many leaders that do their best to make the 4-H program the best it can be for the youth in your community.

NOMINATIONS

Nominations will be made by County Extension Agents using the nomination form enclosed. Nominees may be leaders, friends of 4-H, legislators from your county or other supporters. Nominations will be judged independently by a committee. Because we are honoring 30 individuals, it will be possible to have an honoree from each county, but each application will be judged on its own merit rather than a county quota system. Some counties may have multiple honorees and some counties may have none.

NOTIFICATION

Nomination Forms will be judged and the COUNTY will be notified of the honoree(s). It is the COUNTY’S responsibility to inform the honoree of the Awards Program.

RESERVATIONS

The area Electric Co-ops that serve the counties in our district will provide meals for:

  • Honoree and their Spouse (OR alternate guest)
  • Agent and their Spouse
  • District Adult Leader Association Officers and their Spouse

Extra meal reservations for guests will be $15 per person. A COUNTY check for additional meals must accompany the reservation form. Make checks payable to “4-H Foundation – District 7”. Purchased meals are transferable but NOT refundable.

We hope that all Agents will want to attend this event to show support for those who make our 4-H program outstanding.

Return the completed County Reservation Form to the District Office by the due date.
