5.  If the profile, Everyone, does not appear in Name list, follow these instructions to add the profile.

·  Click the Add button.

11.  Close the Registry Editor window.

STEP2:

SECURITY PERMISSIONS SHOULD BE GIVEN FOR THE FOLLOWING FOLDERS:

1.  Vizual [This is the folder where the Personnel Director is installed. – For example: c:\Program Files\Vizual for MS SQL version or c:\ Program Files\PersDir for Interbase.

2.  Next do the same for the Borland folder [c:\Program Files\Borland]

3.  There are several files installed into the Windows folder that the user will need full access to. This is generally either c:\winnt or c:\windows:

a.  rbuilder.ini

b.  vbtreportlist.ini

c.  Person.ini

d.  wMailto.ini

4.  The final step is to move the items on the start menu from the current logged on user to the user of Personnel Director. If more than on person will be using the software on this PC then it’s recommended that you copy it to the all users profile.

Note:

If you have made all the above changes and still nothing happens when you click in the Icon for Personnel Director, try to open the application directly:

·  c:\Program Files\Vizual\PD-MSSQL\VBTPersonnel.exe – for MS SQL version

·  c:\Program Files\PersDir\VBTPersonnel.exe – for Interbase
