To All Ramrods . . . Past and Present Members of the 2ndInfantry Regiment:

Our reunion next year will again be held on Armed Forces Day weekend- May 17th to May 20th, 2018in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee.

All 2018 reunion activities will be held at the Norma Dan Motel, and they will again give us a special room rate all week. There will be plenty of time for camaraderie and exploration of the area with only a few scheduled events. Registration begins on Thursday morning, with lunch provided from 12 to 3pm and then enjoy refreshments while conversing with fellow Vets. Friday’s only scheduled event is a Country Breakfast Buffet, and then the day is open to you to enjoy the company of others, or take in the local area attractions! Saturday we will have a Country Breakfast Buffet, Memorial Service, a meeting to plan for the next reunion, and an evening banquet. Sunday marks the end of the reunion with a Breakfast Buffet. To follow from last year, remember if you want hard liquor, you must bring your own. We will provide different varieties of soda, water, beer, and wine.

The scenery in the Great Smoky Mountains is breathtaking in the springtime. There are plenty of attractions, and factory outlets in the area to be enjoyed by all. Upon arrival at the hospitality room, which is on the 3rd floor, all attendees will receive “Welcome Packets” with name tags, etc., and information about the local events and attractions.

You must make your own room reservations by calling the Norma Dan Motel at(800) 219-6809.
Be sure to ask for the 2nd Infantry Regiment Ramrod Reunion rate. The motel is closed January-March, so calls may be returned slowly. We need all Registrations/Reservations byMay 1, 2018.

Remember, this reunion is open to all who are currently serving or have served in the Battalions of the 2nd Infantry Regiment and their guests. So we are asking all Ramrods to come, rekindle old friendships, and relax surrounded by true southern hospitality!
