Cal Gold Wins the Cal Cup in Long Beach...Jan. 10....after a long long tourney day!!! What fun!!

RESULTS
1/10....Cal Varsity/Gold won in Long Beach against the field of 8 teams....coming down to the Finals vs LBSU, both of whom had one loss....so a final game to 25 was played and the Golden Bears won!!!!!
1/22....Cal Gold had a wild match at UC Davis last Friday nite succumbing at the end, in 5, 12-15. Davis did a great job of absolutely packing the stands, including their band.
The Bears will be aiming for a win at Mini tourney later on this season, for sure!
1/24....Cal Gold def Stanford in 4, at Berkeley after having to work to gain momentum after game 3 slipped away.

1/21....Cal Blue def St. Mary's in 4 for the first League match, after having a very strong showing in Long Beach at the Cal Cup earlier in the month.

Second Hall of Fame inductees, former Coach Dave Nichols came from Florida with wife/ star stats taker Kalam, Scott Bishop '94, Rod Porter '92, Brett Bush '90 /coach '92 all shared their great memories of playing for Cal.
