RE: Call for Nominations: KFSCA Board of Directors

This is the official call for nominations for candidates for the 2006 KFSCA Board of Directors.

Current Active Members are eligible to serve on the Board. Authority to make policy decisions has been vested in the Board of Directors. For this reason, the election of directors is a matter of considerable importance.

Based on the current roster of directors, membership will be voting on one Regular Trustee and two Associate Trustees. Each position holds a term of two years.

The following trustees positions are up for election in 2006:

· Trustee: Bob Dooley, Landmark Sprinkler, Lexington, KY

· Associate Trustee: Sam Alvey, Plumbers Supply, Louisville, KY

(Position held by an associate member)

· Associate Trustee: John Jutz, Hughes Supply, Mt. Washington, KY

(Position held by an associate member)

The following trustees and directors will remain on the board through 2007:

· President: Rick Brown, Brown Sprinkler Corporation, Louisville, KY

· Vice President: Craig Napier, Landmark Sprinkler, Lexington, KY

· Treasurer: Roger Pottlitzer, Vulcan Fire Systems, Inc, Louisville, KY

· Past President: Mike Nichols, Hussung Mechanical Contractors, Louisville, KY

· Trustee: Chris Lang, Central KY Sprinkler, Nicholasville, KY

· Trustee: Barry Mayer, B & B Fire Protection, Louisville, KY

· Trustee: Mike Spence, Brown Sprinkler Corporations, Louisville, KY

Please indicate nominations for candidates for the 2006 Board of Directors below, including the company that they represent. Please contact members to ensure their willingness to serve before nominating them. Forms should be returned by January 20, 2006. Elections will take place at the Quarterly Meeting on February 6. 2006. Directors will assume office immediately following the election.
