AlaHA sponsors Inspirien and the Health Care Workers’ Compensation Fund (HWCF) are offering an educational session, Cinco de Cyber on Friday, May 5, 2017 at the Inspirien Building (formerly Coastal Insurance) located directly behind the AlaHA Main Office at 509 Oliver Road, Montgomery, AL 36117. You’ll learn about the latest in cyber risk and how to proactively prepare your facility from an attack from expert speakers in cyber security.

Speaker Bios:

Gareth Tungatt, Chief Underwriting Officer

Gareth is co-founder of Ascent Underwriting and also the Chief Underwriting Officer with responsibility for all underwriting operations including product development. With over 15 years experience writing cyber, technology and intellectual property risk, he is recognized as one of the leading underwriters in the London market generating consistently profitable results.

He was previously with Barbican Syndicate from May 2009 as their specialist underwriter for e-commerce risk, and prior to that with ACE Global Markets. Gareth is a regular contributor to several industry publications and forums on insurance risk management for the e-commerce sector, and has worked with a number of blue-chip organizations in a specialized risk consultancy role.

Simon Mills, Partner

Simon joined Denis M. Clayton, a company that has ultimately been absorbed into JLT Re, North American Property and Casualty Reinsurance division as a broker in 2002. He gained experience in several classes of business before focusing on professional liability and primarily medical malpractice (MPL).

Simon is a member of Healthcare Risk Partners. This group is a combination of Lloyd & Partners Healthcare and the JLT Re MPL specialists. It is the largest producer of Medical Malpractice insurance and reinsurance business in the London market.
