Job Title / NCS Marketing & Media Coordinator
Reports to / NCS Manager
Department / Inclusion
Salary / £16,000 – £20,000 per annum (Subject to experience and qualifications)
Hours / This is a full time role requiring flexibility to work some evenings, weekends and match days as required
Job Purpose / Rotherham United Community Sports Trust (RUCST) is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, charismatic and dedicated person to produce materials visual, written and audio to engage and promote the work of RUCST to young people and stakeholders. Through the use of film, photography and other digital mediums.
Contract Details / •Permanent
•Auto-enrolment into the Club’s pension scheme (depending on eligibility)
•28 days annual leave including public holidays
Role Accountabilities & Key Duties
1. Key Duties and Responsibilities /
  • To document and create material to promote and market the NCS programmes and events undertaken by RUCST.
  • Generating ideas for original digital content for a variety of Trust programmes predominantly NCS but also may include other programmes.
  • Curate videos and images that showcase the work of the trust and appeal to their target audience, in particular young people aged 15 – 17. Examples include; working with programme staff to capture activities out in the field such as images and sound bites from participants
  • To develop a library of videos and images that will be rotated across a variety of social media and online sites, i.e. website, Twitter and Facebook.
  • To enhance our current website, Twitter and Facebook sites.
  • Producing marketing material such as flyers, posters and brochures to showcase/advertise programmes
  • Promote and communicate this content across all digital channels, including Twitter, Instagram, YouTube and LinkedIn;
  • Working with partner organisations to assist in management of social media outputs and support their online development.

3. Managing Partnerships and Contracts / •Maintain and build positive relationship with key partners and stakeholders;
•Develop materials to all Brand guidance provided by local partners and stakeholders
4. Experience /
  • Understanding of social media and creating sharable content.
  • Photography and film making interest.
  • Use of Photoshop or equivalent software to create imagery and promotional material.
  • Conversant with Apple Mac and accompanying Software
  • Ability to work with others to generate ideas and use visual mediums to showcase our work.
  • Knowledge of Social Media Apps and Platforms

5. Qualifications /
  • Full driving licence and the use of a vehicle
  • Level 3 or above in Marketing, Media / Photography ( or equivalent )

6. Recruitment / •Develop and maintain relationship and liaise with external agencies
•Attend recruitment events;
•Use resources available within the department to make recruitment as positive and successful as possible.

•To undertake other duties and responsibilities as required from time to time
