2002, May 20th

NEW INFO:

  • Happy birthday to Brian and Travis. Though I missed Brian’s celebration, I heard it was very fun! As for Travis’, it was planned at the last minute and I hope everyone was respectfully invited to attend. Though it was his birthday, I appreciated him buying us a nice breakfast.
  • Congratulations to both Bamae and Suzanne for their hard work and dedication in completing their degrees! I heard that Suzanne had a pleasant and delightful celebration. Perhaps, someone will schedule a celebration for Bamae as well!
  • Is there away for a person to retrieve their messages from another computer if their hard drive is lost? Please forward information to Polly as soon as possible!
  • Please be alert and be on the look out for the complications the internet may cause. Please arm yourself with the appropriate weapons to protect you and your computer. Information sharing is free, but is not yours to keep.
  • When you use a debit card is there a monthly fee? (debit charges comes out of your checking)
  • The computer liquidation store that advertises on television, is a good place to shop for computer parts. However, please make up your own mind and use your expertise should you decide to buy computers, printers and hard drives.

Unless you are comfortable and are a peaceful person, buying new trendy software such as Windows XP can be very trying.

  • Wal-Mart has solar lights for $29.00. These work for both owners and renters as you can move them any place you like. If you are cheap like I am but like things to decorate your yard, these work great as it adds light to those dark paths. However, don’t go and buy them until I have actually had the chance and the money to buy two more boxes. I wouldn’t want them to be out of stock before I get there! (smile)
  • Because many of you haven’t visited in awhile. Perhaps because I haven’t invited you. (smile) My home appears to be a fish store. Jay has all of these Molly’s with a strange name to follow and I have 4 Betas. The Molly’s with the strange name are J’s and are not being given away at this time. However, I am kicking the Betas out! Fay is gonna take two; 1 male and 1 female. Robert is gonna take one but has not said which one he wants. (he gets first dibs after Fay) That leaves one without a home. So, if you are looking for either a male or a female Beta with a fish tank, it is yours.

By the way, you can come and visit any time you please.

2002, JUNE 8th

NEW INFO:

  • Each family event includes the following: Amber, Deanna, Kevin, Les and the rest of the in-laws and their crew.
  • Polly’s Pieces:

Answer to useless trivia: either the plumber or the electrician is the mother. You can make the trivia a bit harder. These are very easy. I have some trivia if you need some toughies.
Please include in next newsletter-
Polly will be going to Ft. Logan Cemetery June 15th @ 12noon. All interested persons should email or meet at cemetery SEC 6 grave 373. This is in reverence to Mom’s bday, Father’s Day, Juneteenth, 4th of July and any other summer observances. After the trip I will be going to lunch @ The Golden Corral. This will also be my last trip to the cemetery until sometime around Veteran’s Day. It will be on a Saturday weather permitting.
For those still interested in receiving weekly shopping specials you can email me at . The shopping tips come from personal shopping trips and tried and true methods of dollar stretching. Specials include mostly food items but may include non food items, tips and time savers, et cetera. If anyone has a tip or knows of a great $$$ saver or time saver PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE email the info my way! I’ll be happy to share the info. TIME SAVER: Did you know that it is quicker to make right hand turns than left hand turns? So the next time you’re out there frustrated because of not being able to turn left across traffic, plan the trip so that you can make a RIGHT turn. Not only does this save time, it cuts down on road rage.
Polly is interested in any event planned for AND by the family. So if anyone wants to plan Lakeside, please notify me of time, date AND cost within 2 weeks of the event. I think Robert’s retirement from the Air Force might be cause for celebration??? Maybe Suzanne is planning something for his retirement???

  • Robert would like for all of us to go down to the five-points for the Juneteenth celebration and then come back to his home for eats and games. Stand by for future announcements.
