Works referred to on the AP Literature exams since 1971 (specific years in parentheses).
Pre-AP English 8 Students will be required to read and write 4 book reports during the course of the school year using the 5 paragraph, 8-sentence format (citing 2 quotations in MLA format in each body paragraph). The following have been screened as appropriate for grade 8 reading level. Students will be permitted to test for AR points for each book read. Students must complete 1 report per 9 weeks on any book of their choice from the list below. (Any other book on the AP reading list must be pre-approved by Mrs. DeIorio prior to the report being written.)
