Portfolio Administrator, Chamberlain Group - Irvine

Opportunity: We are currently seeking a Portfolio Administrator who is experienced and comfortable working within a team environment in a small firm. The position requires excellent organizational skills with a strong attention to detail, in addition to the ability to multi-task and work within tight deadlines. Accountability, effective communication, flexibility, critical thinking, and a strong initiative will be the keys to success. Responsibilities:

·  Daily and monthly reconciliation of accounts between custodians and Advent Axys (portfolio accounting system)

·  Calculate and analyze performance of alternative investments

·  Performance analysis and building on individual accounts and composites of all asset types

·  Import and export data from trading and portfolio accounting system

·  Billing and deduction of advisory/management fees

·  Work with a team of individuals to create technology efficiencies

Requirements:

·  Bachelor's degree (B.A. or B.S.) from a four-year college or university; MBA or CFA preferred

·  2+ years relevant experience as Portfolio Administrator in Operations within Financial Services industry strongly preferred

·  Advent or other portfolio accounting system experience

·  Understanding of performance calculation methodologies

·  Experience with portfolio accounting and reconciliation

·  Superior communication skills, both verbal and written

·  Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
