The Da Vinci Studio School of Creative Enterprise, a 14-18 Studio School specialising in the creative industries.

The Da Vinci Studio School of Science and Engineering, a 14-18 Studio School specialising in the science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) sectors.

The Thomas Alleyne Academy, an 11-18 mixed-comprehensive academy. Rewarded ‘good’ in all areas with ‘outstanding’ leadership and management by Ofsted in 2015.

We are seeking to appoint for September 2016 or preferably Easter an enthusiastic, committed and dynamic teacher of French and Spanish to work within our friendly and supportive team.

The successful candidate will demonstrate a passion for languages, have the ability to inspire students and be able to lead and manage a small department.

Information about the Academy

The Thomas Alleyne Academy rated by OFSTED as a good school with outstanding leadership and management. It is an increasingly popular and rapidly improving 11-18 co-educational comprehensive academy which is justly proud of its reputation as a happy, caring and safe community where success is expected, achieved and celebrated.

There has been education on our present site since the academy was founded by Thomas Alleyne, Rector of Stevenage, in 1558. Throughout our proud history we have been committed to achieving excellence in all that we do. We expect the highest standards of behaviour and achievement from all members of our community.

The Academy has formed an innovative Post 16 Partnership with North Hertfordshire College and the Da Vinci Studio Schools. We achieved Academy status on 1st September 2013 sponsored by North Hertfordshire College. We are developing abroad and exciting curriculum offer for students and excellent professional development opportunities for staff.
