Tierra Buena Elementary After School Program Eagle Center
Program Goal:
Eagle centerafter school program will provide a safe and stimulating environment where kindergarten thru 8thgrade students engage in literacy, enrichment, and recreational activities that are clearly integrated with the student’s regular school day.
Program Delivery Design:
- YCUSD ASES after school programs commence immediately upon
the conclusion of the school day and remain open until 6:00 P.M.
- Students in grades K-8 are able to participate in after school programs
- Nutritious snack is served daily
- Staff members who supervise students meet the minimum YCUSD qualification
for an instructional aide.
Eagle Center after School Programoperates as a partial pay program to offset the costs that are not covered by the grant funding. Eagle Center will be open every school day including minimum days and will be closed on school holidays.
Fees: There is a monthly flat fee for the Eagle Care Program (regardless of hours in attendance). There are no fees for Academic Intervention.

Eagle Center After School Program
Our After School Program provides students with academic support, enrichment opportunities, and recreational activities.Hours of operation will be from 2:17 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Attendance & Departure:
Attendance is taken daily. You will receive a call if your child does not arrive at the expected time. Children are required to maintain a minimum attendance rate of 90% (approximately 2 absences per month).
Children are required to attend at least 3 program hours daily, unless a written early release form has been signed by the parent. Early Release forms are available in the EagleCenter office. A written statement from the parent/guardian specifying dates and times that meet the early dismissal policy conditions satisfies the early dismissal policy. A child may be released early from the EagleCenter prior to the end of three program hours based on the following conditions.
- Attending a parallel activity (programs in the school or community centers such as soccer,baseball,music lessons).
- Student has other non-program obligations
- Student has a medical appointment
- Student safety (ex: students who walk or ride bikes home will be released at least
30 minutes before dark- parent/guardian must complete and sign student release form.
Homework club(K thru 3rd ) & ( 4th thru 8th ): Students receive assistance and support to complete their homework from all subject areas.
Recreation & Enrichment: At Eagle Center, students learn and grow through play. Play provides students with an opportunity to learn while engaging in fun activities, discover things about themselves,and build social skills and confidence. Enrichment classes do not feel like traditional school as classes are filled with hands-on and “disguised learning activities”. Examples of activities are: arts and crafts, group games and sports.
Eagle Center has a policy on late pick-ups: The 1st late pick-up will be a warning, 2nd late pick up will result in your child/children dropped from the program. Eagle Center understands there will be emergencies that will arise.
