REGISTRATION
All participants must register for the workshop before the given due date. The registration fee details are given below:

q Industry participants: Rs.400/-
Registration fee includes Workshop Kit, Lunch and Snacks. Registration Fee is payable by the Demand Draft drawn in favour of “The Principal, Sri Venkateswara College of Engineering” payable at Chennai.

Both Registration form & DD may also be sent through Post/Courier before the given due date.

THE INSTITUTION
Sri Venkateswara College of Engineering (SVCE), a premier self-financing engineering college, was started in the year 1985 and is managed by Sri Venkateswara Educational and Health Trust. The college conducts 10 B.E / B.Tech Degree courses and 10 PG Courses in Engineering and Technology.
The college is autonomous and affiliated to Anna University, Chennai and is accredited by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). Our department is accredited by the National Board of Accreditation (NBA).
The college is situated at about 37 Km from Chennai on the Chennai – Bangalore National Highway (NH4) at Pennalur, Sriperumbudur. The Campus is equipped with 100Mbps leased Internet connectivity with WiFi facility.
THE DEPARTMENT
The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering was established in the year 1985 with an Under Graduate Programme in Electronics & Communication Engineering. A Post Graduate Programme in Communication Systems and Applied Electronics was started in the year 2002 and 2012 respectively. It has / strength of around 800 students guided by a team of devoted and diligent faculty members.
The department is well equipped with state of the art laboratory facilities and software like Tanner Tools, LabView, ADS, IE3D, latest versions of MATLAB and Math CAD etc.,
Every year, the Department regularly organizes a National Level Student Technical Symposium “PANORAMA”, a National Level Conference “National Conference on Signal Processing, Communication & Networking (NCSCN)” and also organizes several Workshops, Seminars and FDPs etc.,
The Department has also secured AICTE funded R & D projects. The Department has signed MoUs with reputed industries.
ABOUT THE WORKSHOP
The design of HF Antenna & Filter is one of the major areas of research in the field of RF & Microwave due to the importance of these components for all communication equipments that uses radio. The purpose of this workshop is to facilitate researchers, Students from academia and R&D institutes to explore the recent advances in design.
CST MICROWAVE STUDIO® (CST MWS) is a specialist tool for the 3D EM simulation of high frequency components. CST MWS enables the fast and accurate analysis of high frequency (HF) devices such as antennas, filters, couplers, planar and multi-layer structures for ensuring both Signal Integrity (SI) and EMC Compatibility. / ADVANCED DESIGN SYSTEM (ADS) is the leading electronic design automation software for RF, microwave, and high speed digital applications. ADS is one of the pioneer 3D EM simulator used by leading companies in the wireless communication & networking and aerospace & defense industries. ADS provides full, standards-based design and verification with Wireless Libraries and circuit-system-EM co-simulation in an integrated platform.
