33 DAYS TO MORNING GLORY begins on Wednesday, November 1st, 2017 at 7:30pm and continues for 6 weeks on Wednesday evenings for a 33 day preparation for Marian Consecration.
For 6 weeks we will individually read and reflect on 4 great Marian saints: St. Luis de Montfort, St. Maximillian Kolbe, St. John Paul II and Blessed Mother Teresa. They’ll teach us the secrets to drawing closer to the Heart of Jesus through the Heart of Mary.
Each week we will watch a video by Fr. Michael Gaitley, MIC that helps bring individual reflections into a clearer and live-able focus. Detailed schedule to follow.
Please call parish office to register 403-251-3381. Books cost $8.00 unless you have your own. Books can be purchased at parish office.
Development and Peace's Fall Campaign is "Women at the Heart of Peace". Watch for information in next week’s Bulletin! Learn more about the vital role women play in conflict prevention and peace building.
Twenty-Eighth Sundayin Ordinary Time
October 15th, 2017
We must be prepared to heed God’s loving call.
Today’s readings provide both comfort and challenge. We are reminded that God is gracious and merciful, forgiving our sins and providing for our needs. But we must actively listen for his call and heed it when it comes, lest we be unprepared to enter the heavenly kingdom and join in the eternal wedding feast.
November 5th, 2017 is Catholic Education Sunday. It is a day meant for all of us - parents, grandparents, alumni, students, friends, and community members to come together to celebrate and give thanks for Catholic education. Our schools are an expression of our faith and a gift, both to our children and to our community.
This Sunday is our opportunity to support quality Catholic education in our community and to ensure the present and future needs of Catholic education are met. The Calgary Catholic Education Foundation (CCEF) is a charitable organization dedicated to enhancing educational experiences for students in the Calgary Catholic School District (CCSD). Your generosity will make a difference for over 55,000 CCSD students.
On November 5th, there will be a special collection at each mass. It only takes one person, or one action, to make a difference in many lives. Let that person be you. Thank you.
We are honored to announce that our community will be taking part in the 2017 40 days for Life campaign.
