Dear OLV Families,
This week we have our Book Fair. Children will have the opportunity to go to the book fair with their classes. It will also be open after school if you would like to purchase books for your children.
Our Charleston Wrap fundraiser has been extended until the end of the week. All order forms must be turned in by Friday, October 20th. Remember that 40% of all sales will go toward your fundraising commitment. After this fundraiser there are only 4 fundraisers left.
This Saturday, October 21st is our Diade los Muertos Halloween Dance and Trunk or Treat. PTA along with 1st and 2nd grade parents are working hard to make this a fun and memorable evening. Preorder your tickets by Wednesday, October 18th. Trunk or Treat begins at 6pm and the dance follows at 6:30pm. Any family who takes part in Trunk or Treat by decorating their car will get free admission to the dance.

The Angel Bins shoe drive has been extended until October 24th, so if you haven’t brought in shoes, please do so by this date. Lastly, don’t forget to continue collecting Box Tops. The deadline to submit Box Tops is Thursday, October 26th.

Queridas Familias de OLV,
Esta semana tenemos nuestra Feria de Libros. Los niños tendrán la oportunidad de ir a la feria de libro con sus clases. También estará abierto después de la escuela si desean comprar libros para sus hijos.
Nuestro recaudación de fondos de Charleston Wrap se extendió hasta el final de la semana. Todos los ordenes se deben entregar antes del viernes 20 de octubre. 40% de todas las ventasvan a su compromiso de recaudación de fondos. Después de esta recaudación de fondos, solo quedan 4 mas.
Este sábado 21 de octubre es el Día de los Muertos Baile de Halloween y “TrunkorTreat”. PTA con los padres de 1º y 2º grado están trabajando duro para hacer esta una noche divertida. Orden sus boletos antes del miércoles 18 de octubre. ‘TrunkorTreat” comienza a las 6 pm y el baile sigue a las 6:30 pm. Cualquier familia que participe en “TrunkorTreat” decorando su automóvil recibirá admisión gratis al baile.
