They like the price and the location but are concerned that the weather may be too cold for them. They want you to find out what temperature it is in Portugal at the moment. You will have to use the Internet to find up-to-date information about the weather in Portugal. This information will then need to be bookmarked as you need to have it available for the customer when you phone them back.

Learners:

  • log on to the Internet;
  • use appropriate search terms and navigational tools to identify appropriate information on a website relevant to the query;
  • bookmark the website;
  • load up the bookmarked site and extract the relevant information for the customer;
  • evaluate own performance in the practical activity.
