Ø  Register for All Classes at www.cprclassroom.com or per facility guidelines.

Ø  You May download Self-Study Modules on the web site. Fax your answer sheet and your certificate will be emailed to you!

Ø  Payment (Cash, Check, Visa, MasterCard) at the door for cards, books, and materials only. No course fees.

Ø  Books are required at registration. Available online, at the class, or at the Mt. San Antonio College Book RAC. It is best to purchase books online for lower prices than at the door.

Ø  Please let us know you are coming. Classes may be cancelled for low enrollment and we would like to let you know.

Ø  Refund Policy: All payment is at the door. No refund on books or materials that have been opened.

E-Learning provides an opportunity for the learner to completed the lecture portion of the courses on-line and come to us to complete your skills validation. These programs are renewal and/or first time. The participant who is successful will receive the same AHA card as if they had come to a live class. Call us for an on-line Key Code and purchase the bundle to complete your AHA card process.

As with men, women's most common heart attack symptom is chest pain or discomfort. But women are somewhat more likely than men to experience some of the other common symptoms, particularly shortness of breath, nausea/vomiting, and back or jaw pain.(Americanheart.org)

ACLS – Advanced Cardiac Life Support Provider First Time 12.0 Contact Hours
Healthcare providers will enhance their skills in the treatment of the adult victim of a cardiac arrest or other cardiopulmonary emergencies. For emergency, intensive care, or critical care healthcare providers such as physicians, nurses, paramedics, respiratory therapists, and other professionals who may need to respond to a cardiovascular emergency. Participant must have knowledge of basic cardiac dysrhythmias prior to taking the course.

In the United States, total cardiovascular disease is the leading cause of death. Looking at specific age groups, cardiovascular disease is the No. 1 cause of death for people age 75 and older, No. 2 for people ages 25–74 and No. 5 for people ages 15–24 (Americanheart.org)

ACLS – EP ACLS for Experienced Providers & ACLS Renewal 8.0 Hours
The ACLS-EP is an option for your ACLS Renewal. The successful participant will receive 2 cards; and ACLS Provider Card and an ACLS-EP Card. The course covers the core ACLS content as well as covering dynamic pre arrest situations. Group case scenario discussions are included.

Assault Response Training AB 508 2.0 Contact Hours
This two hour class will include the following: General safety measures, personal safety measures, the assault cycle, characteristics of aggressive and violent patients, strategies to avoid physical harm, and restraining techniques. Participants will need to wear comfortable clothing. Hands-on techniques are included. /

Although anyone working in a hospital may become a victim of violence, nurses and aides who have the most direct contact with patients are at higher risk. Other hospital personnel at increased risk of violence include emergency response personnel, hospital safety officers, and all health care providers. (CDC.gov)

Learn skills to approach others with assertion rather than aggressively. The course will be interactive and scenario-based to help with skills to enhance your communication skills.
