Youth Academy

“Breaking Par”

Welcome parents and juniors to the Royal OaksYouth Academy where our goal is progressing juniors towards shooting par or better on and off the course. This program is going to consist of coaching, training and playing programs that are designed to teach juniors to play the game from a hole out perspective. This curriculum is designed to set appropriate objectives and challenges towards shooting par or better. It will be 2-3 days a week throughout May & June. They will get a total of 20 Clinic, Practice and Challenge Days along with 3 open play dates. This program is for all levels from ages 7-18.

This program will be run by:

Sean Lanyi, PGA Director of Player Development

Brett Balch, PGA Apprentice & Assistant Golf Professional

The Youth Academy will be from May 4th – June 27th

Academy Classes:

Juniors will learn the game in a weekly group class where our coaches will progress the students through the curriculum.

Supervised Practice:

Golfers can accelerate skill development by training alongside a coach who sets up a structured and efficient practice session.

Weekly Matches:

The program is designed to challenge players to shoot a score of 36 for 9 holes playing from the appropriate yardage based on their development and skill level.

Individual Lessons:

Each student will get 2- 45 minute lesson a month with full tuition.

Academy Tuition & Fees:

$300 for full tuition

$45 for additional private lessons

*Advancement throughout the program is based on improvement and progression learning skills and objectives, learning to shoot par or better starting at 25 yards which allows them to advance to greater distances and a more challenging course setup!!!
