Very close to incandescent lamp light
LEDON's 10 W Double-Click lamp provides optimum lighting quality according to recent lamp test by Stiftung Warentest
In issue 5/2013 of its “test” magazine, Stiftung Warentest examined 20 energy-saving lamps in the classic bulb shape with E27 screw-base socket. The LED lamp in particular could not fail to impress as an alternative to 60 W incandescent lamps. LEDON's10W Double-Click LED lamp was given the quality rating GOOD (2.0). Among the eight LED light sources that achieved an overall rating of GOOD, and it was the only one to be rated “very good” for its photometric qualities. In the testers' opinion, the lamp's colour rendering comes “very close to incandescent lamp light”, which makes “colours appear very natural.” Wherever colour shades are required to be rendered in an especially natural manner, the testers recommend an Ra level (general colour rendering index) of over 90, such as achieved by the LEDON lamp tested.
Double-Click: dimming without a dimmer
Another special feature of LEDON's 10 W Double-Click lamp is that it allows for changes in brightness without the use of a dimmer. With one flip of a standard light switch, the lamp lights up with its usual brightness level. The bright warm white light of the LEDON lamp is similar to that of a classic incandescent lamp of up to 60W, however, with only 10W power consumption. A quick “on-off-on” of the switch will reduce brightness is to 30 percent of the initial level,creating a cosier atmosphere. No additional installation effort is required for this “dimming without a dimmer”.
