1. General

1.1 RELATED REQUIREMENTS

2. Products

2.1 BUS DUCT

.1 [Copper] [Aluminum], [feeder] [plugin], [3] phase, [4] wire, [347/600][120/208]V, full capacity neutral [ventilated] [enclosed] [low impedance] for [indoor] [outdoor] application, rated for any mounting position, with conductors separated and supported by absorption resistant insulating material. Maximum line to line voltage drop at rated load to be [4V per 30m] maximum for an undistributed load at 90% power factor.

2.2 ENCLOSURE

.1 Steel fabricated, self supporting on 3000mm centres, 800mm solid back and front sections for passing through floor slabs. Provide internal fire stop and [floor] [wall] flange where bus ducts pass through floor or wall. Provide suitable connection flange and adaptor for connection of other electrical equipment.

2.3 CABLE TAP BOXES

.1 Complete with bus stabs for connections to [breaker] [distribution] panelboard with capacity equal to [breaker] [distribution] centre capacity [minimum.

3. Execution

3.1 INSTALLATION

.1 Torque bus duct joints at time of installation and 6 months after, to manufacturer's recommendations.

.2 Install all joints in accessible locations.

.3 Instruct manufacturer regarding all building dimensions and openings pertinent to bus duct installation.

.4 Provide and install all accessories required to complete installation.

3.2 CABLE TAP BOXES

.1 Coordinate position and spacing with [panel assemblies] [circuit breaker enclosures].
