2009-2010 NISSAN GTR TRANSMISSION COOLER INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

GTR Transmission cooler complete kit

Connect supplied fused power lead directly to the positive side of the battery. DO NOT put the fuse in the holder until the installation is done.

Red power wire needs to be run nest to the firewall behind the engine to the factory grommet on the driver side of the vehicle. Grommet is located next to the brake master cylinder.

Remove this grommet and use a razor blade to put a small “X” in the center of it. This will allow for the power wire to be run thru easily.

Remove driver side kick panel to install the toggle switch. The switch will need to be drilled out with a ½” drill bit. Fasten the switch to the kick panel.

Connect both terminal leads to the switch.

Run the power wire underneath of the plastic sill plate. Continue this past the center post. You will have to remove the top and bottom rear seat cushion. The power wire will run underneath the bottom seat cushion into the trunk.

There is a hole behind the back seat the goes directly in to the trunk that you use to run the switch wire thru. You can use flex loom in this spot.

Cut a “X” in this rear grommet to run the three lead wires thru. They will come out above the underneath heat shield.

Use the center grommet to run the wires thru for the fan and pump assembly. A small “X” needs to be cut in this grommet. (Close up picture of the one above)

The 3 power wires need to separate here. The single pump wire must go towards the front of the vehicle and the two fan wires must run towards the rear of the vehicle on top of the heat shield.

You will need to hook the positive red wire to the negative side of the fans. You will then need to hook the negative black ground wires to the positive side of the fan terminals. These fans are dual polarity and need to be wired in reverse.

You use a factory ground point above the rear sway bar for grounding.

Place the pan gasket onto the under tray and trace around it. You will need to center the gasket between both ridges on the under tray. You will need to measure down 1/2” from the top left of where the vent is located. You then trace around the gasket and cut the piece from the plastic.

The pan fittings all come pre tightened.
