SCHEDULE A COURSE:
TV Production: Work in the WWPH-TV studios as director, producer, crew, etc. Shoot and edit “on location” videos.
Broadcast Writing: Learn to produce, direct and write TV programming, movies and other videos for WWPH-TV. Learn to produce and perform shows for
your school radio station, 107.9-FM. Learn to be a news reporter and anchorperson for 107.9-FM and WWPH-TV.
Advanced Broadcast Writing: The team that runs the student radio and TV stations, 107.9—FM and WWPH-TV. Fulfill roles like show host, producer,
director, engineer, news anchor, reporter, etc. Create radio and TV shows, movies, and your own original productions.
If you have NEVER TAKEN a high school Broadcasting Course: Schedule Broadcast Writing OR TV Production
If you have taken TV Production but have NEVER TAKEN Broadcast Writing, then: Schedule Broadcast Writing
If you have taken Broadcast Writing but have NEVER TAKEN TV Production, then:
1. Option 1: Schedule TV Production and have that as your course next year.
2. Option 2: Schedule TV Production but apply for Advanced Broadcast Writing. (If selected, your schedule will be upgraded to Advanced.)
If you have already taken BOTH Broadcast Writing AND TV Production, then:
1. APPLY for Advanced Broadcast Writing (but schedule Broadcast Writing or a non-broadcasting elective.)
2. Your schedule will be upgraded to Advanced when you are selected.
3. You may be a part of Advanced Broadcasting each year for the rest of your high school career.
