Membership:Provide the Welcoming committee for every meeting. Help new members integrate into the branch. Help with plans to maintain and increase membership. Committee Chairs maintain records for branch, state and national organization. Plan new member coffee.

Programs: Hold brainstorming to determine programs for the year. Distribute and collect evaluation sheets for feedback on programs. Make speaker engagement and confirmation calls. Provide program introduction and thank you to speakers

Educational Opportunities Fund, (EOF): Plan programs to fund scholarships and promoteNational Conference for College Women Student Leaders ( NCCWSL). Work with local colleges to select scholarship awardees. Handle the book fair and work on joint fundraising activities.

Eleanor Roosevelt Walk: Walk planned to take place in October each year. Get pledges from walkers and sponsors of walkers. Find park, or place to hold walk. Track pledges and get funds to Treasurer

Public Policy: Work to promote the principles outlined in the2017-2019AAUW Public PolicyProgram. Use grassroots efforts to break through educational and economic barriers for women and girls. Some examples of current issues are pay equity, sexual harassment on college campuses, human trafficking, and get out the vote.

Publicity: Maintain current media and organization lists and send out monthly press releases about Ballwin-Chesterfield meetings and events.

Legal Advocacy Advocacy Fund (LAF): Support and keep updated on AAUW's Legal Cases.Inform the Branch through the newsletter and at meetings of LAF activities work on fundraising and promote individual giving.

Branch Development for Leadership & Operating Funds:Plan and implement major branch fundraiser to provide operating and leadership funds. Select theme, solicit items to auction, select meal, plan decorations. Provide registration process, set-up oral/silent auction, raffle, 50/50.Secure "bankers", set-up/clean-up.

Dollars for Scholars: Organize and sponsor events to raise EOF scholarship funds for women, while enjoying interesting, educational and fun activities.

Directory: Take pictures of members, solicit ads, assist with compilations, publishing and distribution of directory by e-mail and at meetings.

STEM: Arrange events to encourage STEM education. Provide Science Fair recognition, assist in planning Expanding Your Horizons (EYH) event, and STEM Girls of Promise recognition with high schools, Work with Why So Few tool kit.

Governance: Work on bylaw changes mandated from national and branch changes.

Newsletter: Join a production team that gathers, formats and edits articles submitted from board members and others to produce and print Branching Out, the branch's monthly newsletter.

International Relations: Work with other AAUW branches, and community organizations to offer four programs of international interest from women's standpoint. Send out publicity and offer hospitality at events.

Communications/Website: Works with Programs and Special Events on communication issues, i.e. microphones, computer use and other set-up for speakers. Is responsible for Ballwin/Chesterfield branch website. Assists membership with access to information as needed. ______Interested in this committee

Hospitality: Arrange for Branch Meeting Hospitality Tables. Recruit coordinators and committee of hostesses to decorate Hospitality Table and supply refreshments for six branch meetings. Provide instruction, assistance and recognition to coordinators and hostesses. ______Interested in this committee

Summer Picnic: Select venue & theme of the first event/gathering of the new year. Promote event. Arrange set-up and clean-up.

Fall Brunch: Responsible for planning theme, decorations for tables, menu, and set-up/clean-up for the first big meeting in the fall, attended by many members and guests.

Spring Luncheon: Provide format for Recognition of Named Gift Honorees and Installation of Officers. Responsible for planning and implementing the theme, location, decorations and menu. Arranges registration, seating, greet guests, and hold raffle.

Interest Groups: Members are invited to join in activities of interest group. New groups are formed as new interest arise. Range of groups goes from bridge to book groups, art mediums, golf, movie group, out to lunch, dinner groups and more. Help get new groups started and assist with format of each as they are formed.

College/University Partners: Meet with university and college representatives to work with them in encouraging young, and returning women in education through scholarships. Work with National's program for student leaders.
