College Application Week isNovember 14th to November 18th. This is an opportunity for our students to apply to various higher education institutions for FREE! We encourage each student to apply to at least one school during this week. If you or your students have questions, please ask Ms. Archambault, our college adviser, assistance.

On Wednesday, November 9th, Jordan-Matthews presents the World Premiere of Fiddler and the Immigrant Experience, with “Far From the Home I Love”, (“Lejos de la casa que yo amo”), a short, student-produced documentary relating the journey many local families have experienced to events in the musical, “Fiddler on the Roof.” Red Carpet,6:45 p.m. World Premiere,7 p.m. JM MEDIA CENTER.

On Tuesday, November 15th, from 6 to 8 p.m. in JM MEDIA CENTER Jordan-Matthews artists from Art III and IV present a juried exhibition featuring works inspired by Marc Chagall, 1887-1985, a Russian-born French artist whose paintings helped inspire the musical, “Fiddler on the Roof.” Please join us for this awe-inspiring event.

The show runs about 2 and 1/2 hours, so if you have a small child with you, instead of buying them a ticket, please make a donation to HOSA or LEO (suggested: $5) who will be providing child care during the performances.


During the 2016-2017 school year, Chatham County Schools will be participating in the AdvancEd accreditation process. This is a continuous improvement process that is led by the AdvancEd organization. AdvancEd is the largest community of education professionals in the world. They conduct rigorous, on-site external reviews of Pre-K-12 schools and school systems all over the world to ensure that all learners realize their full potential.
