ACKNOWLDEGEMENT OF RISK AND WAIVER AND RELEASE

It is a condition of membership and the use of the Burnaby Archers' facilities that all members acknowledge and accept these risks and sign this waiver and release liability.

By becoming a member or renewing my membership at Burnaby Archers and by participating in activities of Burnaby Archers' facilities I fully acknowledge and accept that risks exist and that I, on behalf of myself or as a parent / guardian, voluntarily accept these risks. I am fully aware of the possible risks involved in the sport of archery and I agree to myself / my child / my ward, voluntarily becoming a member of Burnaby Archers and voluntarily partaking in the sport of archery.

I agree that I have read and understood the Burnaby Archers' Club Rules and Regulations and that I will abide by, and enforce them at all times and to report potentially dangerous practices or behaviours to the club executive without delay.

I confirm that I have read the above and fully understand and freely accept the inherent risks associated with archery.

I also understand that the use of the Club facilities is at my own risk and that the City of Burnaby and Burnaby Archers, its respective Officers, Directors, Members or Volunteers, are not responsible for any injuries or damages no matter what the cause.

I freely accept responsibility for myself / my child / my ward and hereby release the City of Burnaby and Burnaby Archers and its respective Officers, Directors, Members or Volunteers of any liability resulting from any injury I may sustain by being a member of Burnaby Archers or participating in any activity at the Burnaby Archers' facilities.

I hereby waive my right to commence legal action associated with bodily injury occurring while engaged in archery activities against the City of Burnaby and Burnaby Archers, its respective Officers, Members or Volunteers.

I accept that this waiver and release is binding upon me and upon my heirs, next of kin, executors, administrators, personal representatives and assignees.

I sign and accept this waiver and release voluntarily and without pressure and acknowledge that I am entitled to obtain independent legal advice prior to signing this waiver and release.
