Safeguarding children and young people online is crucial.In recognition of European Safer Internet Day (SID), 8th February 2011, we would like our competition entrants to produce a resource which is aimed at young people to help raise their awareness of E-Safety issues. The winning resource will then be used by students in other schools across Salford. Entrants can submit a resource in any form and use any media; for example a presentation, a play, a video, lesson resources, school assembly materials, podcasts, radio broadcast, posters or information leaflets, the choice is yours.
There are 3 entry categories: Key Stage 1-2; Key Stage 3-4 and Post 16.

Approval for image use by the RM Group, TEN and Salford Council
I hereby give my consent for the images of my school and pupils, as well as any learning resource created as a result of this competition, to be used generally byRM Education plc, the TEN Centre and Salford Council, and all other subsidiaries of RM plc from time to time ("RM"):
(i)on its corporate Website;
(ii)in any other appropriate marketing material, including press;
(iii)in any product or service created or provided by RMTEN or Salford Council, including (without limitation) any software or similar products or packages.
I will inform RM, TEN and Salford Council, should it be necessary to request the removal of any or all photographs and images from the library.
