Team Concept

(***This area below is a description of your team concept below is an example***)

The TEAM philosophy that will be adopted this year is based on 4 concepts: RESPECT, COMMITMENT, SUCCESS and TEAM. Through RESPECT and COMMITMENT we will have SUCCESS in learning, growing, developing, maturating and have fun as a TEAM.

DEFINITIONS:

RESPECT - esteem for or a sense of the worth or excellence of a person, a personal quality or ability, or something considered as a manifestation of a personal quality or ability.

COMMITMENT - the act of committing, pledging, or engaging oneself; a pledge or promise

SUCCESS - the favorable or prosperous termination of attempts or endeavors.

TEAM - a number of persons forming one of the sides in a game or contest; unity, as one; a group with a common goal.

“I believe in guiding all players to grow and develop their individual knowledge, respect, and success. Coaching with integrity and leveraging enthusiasm and inspiring commitment, will promote players to have fun & build passion. All while empowering each player to experience individual success and ultimately understanding the true meaning of being part of a successful team.” - Roy Bowlby

Meaning that Iwill not engage a parent who is upset and disrespectful regarding decisions made by any of the coaching staff or any other member of the Team’s staff immediately after an issue has developed. If you wish to ask questions or seek resolution after the 24 hour rule has lapsed, please use the following methods.

1st STEP

-Contact the Head Coach and express concerns. (Consider the 24hr rule).

-All complaints towards any other member of the TEAM’s management (treasurer, jersey parent, fundraising etc.) will be handled in the same manner

-Any complaints against the Manager will be communicated directly tothe Head Coach

-All TEAM issues will be attempted to be resolved within the TEAM

2nd STEP

-Any issues that cannot be resolved within the TEAM will be forwarded to the Division Director for help in resolving the issue.

3rd STEP

-If the issues cannot be resolved with the help of the Division Director, OMHA executive will be asked to get involved to resolve the issue (no one will win at this level).
