Featuring: Dr. Woodrow Kroll, of Back to the Bible, Guest Speaker and

Paul Lanier, Recording Artist, providing Special Music

You are invited to join with fellow WIHS listeners for an evening of celebration and thanksgiving as we praise GOD for thirty-six years of Christian Radio Broadcasting. Highlighting the Anniversary Banquet Program will be a challenging message by our special guest, Dr. Woodrow Kroll, speaker on the popular “Back to the Bible” program, which is heard on WIHS Monday through Friday mornings at 9:30am, and The Bible Minute at 1:06pm every weekday.

Dr. Woodrow Kroll is President and Bible Teacher of Back to the Bible International headquartered in Lincoln, Nebraska. Author of more than 50 books and a popular speaker at America's most loved Bible conferences, Woodrow Kroll is best known as the Bible teacher on the Back to the Bible broadcast, heard daily on hundreds of radio stations and translators around the world. In addition Dr. Kroll is also the speaker on the daily radio short feature The Bible Minute and the weekly television program also called Back to the Bible. Back to the Bible has been called “The Bible teacher to the world” and rightly so. This international media ministry has thirteen offices outside of the United States from which 60 different national Bible teachers broadcast Gospel messages in 25 languages, including all ten of the most frequently-spoken languages in the world.

Dr. Kroll's clear, incisive and practical teaching of the Bible is widely appreciated throughout the world. "My lifelong passion and greatest privilege," says Woodrow Kroll, "is preaching the Word of God." Woodrow and Linda Kroll make their home in Ashland, Nebraska near the international headquarters of Back to the Bible. They have four grown children and 12 grandchildren.

Paul Lanier writes songs that express his relationship with God. During his rebellious teenage years, Paul accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior at a church service in East Providence, Rhode Island. The pursuit of secular interests replaced the pursuit of the Kingdom of God and through a series of events Paul reached a point of brokenness and despair. This led to a more fully surrendered life to the Lord. In 1989 Paul wrote “Free In The Blood of Jesus” which marked his return to the Lord. The acoustic folk rock album “Ponder The Road” was recorded in 2000 and reflects the Grace and Mercy of a loving God. The acoustic rock album “Take Refuge” recorded in 2005 features his son David on electric guitar as part of their band, Banned Loot. The band plays at various venues throughout New England. Paul leads Praise and Worship at Calvary Chapel in Willimantic, CT, coordinates the church prison ministry and organizes the booking of musicians attending Calvary Coffee House. Through this church connection, Paul was instrumental in the establishment of the Windham No-Freeze Homeless Project, a committee that provides shelter through cold winter months. Paul’s interest in financial planning now takes a back seat as he models God’s love every day at work in a group home for mentally disabled persons. However, singing will always be the way he chooses to communicate his love of Jesus, our Lord and Savior.
