This App has three main feathers:-
1)Electoral Statistics:-Opening screen of the app containing synoptic
electoral statistics of all constitution within district Nadia.
2)Navigation:-This will facilitate one user of this app to navigate/
traverse across AC map as per his/her own requirement means current location to desired destination be it a booth or sector.
3)Map:-It portrays all Georeferenced location of booth
villages/ hamlets and accessible route & transportation route.
4)Matrix:-This would facilitate a comprehensive information for
movement & navigation against all polling station within a specific sector.
MAP
Advantages :-
▸Statistics about all AC at a glance containing information relating to total electors (Normal Booth, Sensitive Booth, Hyper sensitive Booth).
▸Assembly Constituency (AC) Boundary.
▸See All Booth Position on Map.
▸Point to point accessibility distance and approx travel time from one booth to another booth in map.
▸Navigate fromyour own Location to any Booth or location.
▸Sector wise any booth to any booth distance and approx time matrix and navigation.
Feature Details:
▸Statistics about all AC at a glance
▸Total elector
▸Total Booth
(Normal Booth, Sensitive Booth, Hyper sensitive Booth).
Steps: Select District
Assembly Constituency (AC) vis & vis
▸AC Area Boundary. (Along with user’s current position could be seen in real time.
Steps:Tap on Map Menu (At the bottom left of the screen)
▸See All BoothGeoreferenced Position/Location on Screen
▸Every booth location once selected (Just touch upon the dot on the map) the booth no & name will be displayed.
Steps: 1. Select single or multiple AC from the dropdown menu (As per user’s requirement) i.e
a)an observer & RO will be interested in his own AC.
b)DEO shall select all AC for his convenience.
c)SDO/BDO can select & use as per their requirement
2. After Selection Tap in Show Button.
Point to point accessibility :-
▸This will facilitate calculation of distance and approx time from One Booth to another (or one point to another point) booth on map.
Steps:1. Tap on a single booth to select a starting point.
2. After selection start point Tap on Destination
Booth.
It will show distance approximate time to reach on the bottom of the app. And road is marked on map screen with alternate route also if any.
NAVIGATE
▸Navigate from current Location to any Booth
Steps:1. Tap on Navigation menu.
2. Select AC and Booth.
3. Tap on ‘Go’ Button.
Map will display shortest route to the distance. Walking distance and alternate route are also shownsimultaneously.
MATRIX
Features :-
This will facilitate one sector officer and even ROs/BDOs and SDOs to have information about PSLs and individual booth in single screen.
This feature provides navigational facility on map once selected the booth within sector.
▸Sector wise any booth to any booth distance and approx travel time will be shown with navigation facility
matrix and navigation.
▸All PS within a sector is shown instantly.
▸It provides information regarding criticality and vulnerability of booth with booth past history and violence.
Step: 1. Tap on matrix menu.
Step:2. Select AC.
Step:3. Select Sector.
Wait for a while and it will display a matrix containing information of all booth with distance and approx. travel time to access a particular booth.
From the navigation button user can see the road and travel time from any booth to any booth (point to point accessibilities).
Utility:-
▸This app is for at a glance view and movement plan form one place another booth.
▸All booth and AC area and user location is pointed on the map.
▸User can locate Normal Booth, Sensitive Booth and Hyper sensitive Booth (As it is shown distinctively using different colours).
▸A summary of a sector and its one booth to another booth distance and approx time to reach report is available. Even user can get an instant Navigation on map.
▸User can chose a path as per the condition of the road, traffic condition or less walking or ferry etc.
▸Any time current position indicator.
▸All sector officer movement can be traced in real time with the help of GPS enabled mobile and GPS equipment fitted in the vehicle.
▸In case of any untoward incident in a particular booth/Sector/AC every officer associated on P-Day can track down the movement sector officer magistrate police station location to pass the information through simple message or call to Nadia Direct(Nadia Electoral Direct).
▸This application has georeference of positional location of DM & DEO office, SDO office, BDO office, RO office, Sector office, inter road network, river water bodies along with all type of health infrastructure.
Point to point navigation with alternative routes and real time more over this application is user friendly, even a layman having minimum knowledge can operate this apps with a 15 minutes training.
▸On P-Day any untoward information related to law and order situation occurred then immediate assistance can be extended to injured/effected person to the shortest possibility time. Entire election machinery QRT location, PS location, Sector officer location, Magistrate location can be covered through the app.
▸All health infrastructure location including GPS enabled ambulance location which is available in the district can be mobilized for assistance to the affected person/booth within minimum possibility time.
