Review by Mark Snyder

I couldn’t be happier than to welcome this new restaurant into town. Friday’s has always been my favorite chain restaurant, and this location is shiny & new, with the same great food, and a young enthusiastic staff.

Together with my TV director, her husband, and a local businessman, I have dined twice in the new location. Manager John Holden and his management team have truly motivated the staff---so much so that you can hear them singing, and watch them dancing, all the way around the place.

The atmosphere is colored with nostalgia. Visits to the men’s room had me noticing photos of “The Mod Squad”, “Charlie’s Angels”, Jimi Hendrix, and other icons of days gone by. The bar is lit up with a half dozen large flat screen TV’s, a perfect place to take in a game, and enjoy a beer and buffalo wings.

Appetizers that sizzle with flavor—in addition to the great wings—include Parmesan-Encrusted Chicken Quesadillas, Pot Stickers, and the uniquely delicious BBQ Pork Ravioli Bites. For the perfect accompaniment to beer on game day, try the “Jack Daniels Championship Slide Sampler”, which features four tender all-beef patties covered with shredded cheddar cheese, crispy bacon, and Jack Daniel’s championship-winning BBQ sauce.

Watching your weight? Try the Dragonfire Chicken, glazed with Chinese Kung Pao sauce, served over stir-fried brown rice, with pineapple pico de gallo, mandarin oranges and broccoli.

Don’t care about calories? Indulge with a Jack Daniels Ribs and Chicken, a “Flat Iron” hand-cut Jack Daniels sauce-smothered steak, pepper-crusted pork chop (with amazingly good beer-battered onion rings and creamy mashed potatoes.

How about an All-American dish? Go for the Bacon Cheeseburger! But skip the healthy stuff on top—no lettuce and tomatoes for me! Ask for a little Jack Daniels sauce to put on top. YUM!

Make sure you save room for dessert! The Chocolate Peanut Butter Pie and Vanilla Bean Cheesecake are to die for! The wait staff is young and enthusiastic. Ashley gave it a solid effort. Ask for someone named “J9”. She’s quite the character! Check out the new Friday’s, for coffee and dessert after a movie, for appetizers during the game, or for a nice dinner! Thanks to Friday’s for generously donating hundreds of meals to Stoughton town employees, Chamber members, and other residents. They used the weekend for training of employees, and hundreds of residents enjoyed their FREE meals!
