Dear Parents/Guardians,
We would like to take this opportunity to welcome both you and your child to a new school year.
To insure that the school year gets off to a good start, your assistance in the following matters would be greatly appreciated.
1. Your child will have homework assignments every evening, which must be reviewed and signed by you. In addition to written assignments, 25-35 minutes each evening should be set aside for reading.
2. All tests that are sent home should be signed and returned to school the next day.
3. Please be sure that your child brings a book to school each day for silent reading.
4. Please check your child’s bookbag each evening for important notices from school and notes from the classroom teacher.
5. The following supplies will be needed. Please make sure to label only the starred items on the list with your child’s name. The remaining supplies will be collected and shared communally.

4 pkgs. of pencils * 1 small pair of Fisakers scissors
2 boxes of tissues 2 boxes of crayons (keep one at home)
2 small glue sticks 1 pair of small scissors
2 rolls of paper towels 2 pkgs. of markers (washable only)
2 package of dry erase markers * $8.00 for Storyworks Jr.
2 boxes of baby wipes 1 bottle of hand sanitizer
1 box of gallon Ziploc bags 1 package of Clorox Wipes
*1 USB flash drive (write name On) $6.00 for Time For Kids (in an
2 ream of computer paper envelope with name on)
1 pack of loose leaf paper 1 pack of 1.5 x 2 inch Post-It notes
1 pair of headset

Estimados Padres/Guardianes:
Queremos tomar esta oportunidad para darle la bienvenida a usted y a su niño/a al nuevo año escolar.
Para asegurar que el comienzo de este año escolar sea un éxito, su ayuda en lo siguiente será apreciado.
1. Su niño/a tendrá tarea diariamente, la cual debe ser revisada y firmada por usted.
Ademas de la tarea de escritura, 25-35 minutos deben ser guardados para que su niño/a lea todos los días .
2. Todos los examenes que son enviados a la casa deben ser firmados y devueltos el próximo día.
3. Por favor asegurese que su niño/a traiga un libro a la clase todo los días para “silent reading” lectura en silencio.
4. Por favor revisar la mochila cada noche por notas importantes de la escuela y de los maestros/as de su nino/a.
