Poultry Group Work

There will be 6 groups, one each for:

Dairy,

Ruminant meat,

Poultry,

Apiculture,

Irrigated agriculture (including irrigated fodder), and

Extension (knowledge management/capacity building)

The groups will be constituted by potential researchers/development partners in the commodities/subjects. Group members will self-select themselves according to their expertise. With due consideration to the cross cutting issues of gender, environment and food safety,each group will perform the following tasks:

  1. Deliberate on the draft research framework and suggest improvements

•types of research, research areas and outputs

•Research partnership and implementation

•Role of graduate students

•Promotion of R4D outputs

  1. Review and prioritize the potential research areas for each commodity by year using the template below:
