Part-Time Virtual Enrollment Information
There are two Virtual School Options Available:

Be sure to choose Lake County Virtual as your virtual school provider
Students interested in taking a LCVS class MUST complete an LCVS School Counselor Approval Form and follow the process indicated on the form.
ü Grades that a student earns for VIRTUAL classes will go onto their high school transcript. If the student withdraws after the grace period-which is 14 days, it will show up as a WF (withdrawn failing) on the transcript. These grades make up the student’s high school GPA and are never removed.
ü *Please bear in mind that due to Florida’s Class Size Reduction Act, if your student decides to drop out of their LCVS class, they will not be enrolled in that class at LHS.
ü If taking a high school course that has an End of Course exam in “regular school”, the Virtual school student will also have to take the End of Course exam in order to receive credit. This can be done at the student’s zoned school. It is the student’s responsibility to contact the Testing Coordinator, Mrs. Bailey at Leesburg High School to sign up for the End of Course Exam.
ü Please note whether your student is taking a course that has two “segments” or “semesters”. The student will have to complete BOTH parts in order to receive credit for their online graduation requirement.
