b) the decision is made on the spot of speaking

E.g. Mum: „Who wants to wash the dishes?“ You: „ I´ll do it“ (I´ll = I will)

Tom: „Jake is going to stay at my house, so come and join us.“

James: „Wow, that sounds great, so ...... (come) at 11. Is that OK?“

B)GOING TO FUTUTRE I am going to help you but I´m not going to do it instead of you!!

- we speak about MADE PLANS, DECISIONS : I am going to do it  I plan to do it

- typical for DIARY entries information

- in SPOKEN INFORMAL language we often hear „GONNA“

I´m gonna do it later. She´s gonna watch it. We´re gonna leave at 6.

I am going to help. / I am not going to help. / Am I going to help you?
We/you/they are going to help. / We/you/they are not going to help. / Are we/you/they going to help you?
She/he/it is going to help. / She/he/it is not going to help. / Is she/he/it going to help you?
